I had a Provia french door installed in July of 2012, in the rear of my home, that opens onto a new deck.
I also had a double wide InVent screen installed with the french door. I am a quite disappointed in the screen and somewhat disappointed in the door.
Because the screen fabric is so light, that a light touch at the bottom of the fabric pushes the fabric out of the bottom track, making the insect pile useless.
I have two cats who are always curious (naturally), and I am concerned that they will be able to push their way past the bottom edge of the fabric.
Can the fabric be adjusted to fit deeper into the bottom track? Can the fabric be reinforced on its top and bottom edges?
In addition, the spring load for the screen retract (both screens) seems excessive, and sometimes closilng the screen t causes the fabric to lift out of the bottom track. or the entire screen and the vertical edge bar comes out of both tracks.
At this point, I have to consider the InVent screen a piece of junk, and requires replacement with a standard, by-pass type of screen door.
