Designing Your Kitchen

Renovating your home and kitchen is always a challenge, and a little harder with a global pandemic. But at Grand Banks, we are committed to offering our design services now more than ever. Everyone deserves good design. It’s not just about being fancy, it’s about creating a home and space that functions well for you and your family. A place that makes you feel comfortable and inspired. A place for you to come home to at the end of the day and find refuge from the worries of the world. 

Our design process happens in several phases. During our first meeting we will educate you on the products Grand Banks offers, discuss your vision, time frame, budget and any progress you have made so far. We can discuss layout and style options. To make the most of our time please provide the information below prior to our meeting:

• Basic measurements of the space (Please see our self-measuring guide included) or, if you’re building new, your floor plans from your architect or builder
• Photos of the space you will be renovating - the more the better! 
• Inspiration photos of kitchens you like check out Houzz, Pinterest or our featured designs on our blog.
• Your wish list - this is the fun part
• Desired appliance sizes or appliance specifications if possible

After your meeting we will get started on an initial proposal. This presentation will include perspective views of your new space as well as a quote based on this initial layout. Once we’ve settled on a design we’ll come to your home, take detailed field measurements and make changes to the layout if need be before finalizing an order. 

It's important to remember that this is a process. It's important for us to take the time to get the design right. And with all construction projects, it's best to expect the unexpected. If you are thinking of renovating your home, it's best to get started sooner than later. Cabinetry can take anywhere from 2 - 8 weeks for delivery. The sooner we get started, the sooner we can get you in your new space.
